QMB & BarrierGuard Used on M25 Bell Common Tunnel

Work began back in October on the upgrade and widening of the M25 Bell Common Tunnel for Costain. This is a highly prestigious contract which is expected to last between 18 and 20 months. Highway Care is very proud to have won the work to provide both BarrierGuard and the Quickchange Moveable Barrier.
We installed 2.2km of BarrierGuard over three nights and 4km of QMB was installed by Hardstaff. Two Barrier Transfer Machines were provided for this job so that barrier could be transferred easily from one side of the carriageway to the other. The QMB and BarrierGuard are designed to protect both road workers and passing motorists while the construction work is taking place.
