Mount Cotton - Australia

Date: 17/12/2010

The project at Mount Cotton was to install a right-turning lane for entering a side street.  The road needed to be widened along a 200m stretch in order to allow this happen. Over 500m of BarrierGuard 800 was installed while the turning lane was constructed and work was completed in mid-September of this year.

BarrierGuard 800 was the favoured choice over plastic barrier due to its high performance (low deflection means road-workers are protected) and not having to use water to fill it.
